Beta terms
Version 2026-10-09.2 · Updated October 9, 2026.
helloash.me (“helloash,” “we,” or “us”) is an AI companion web-chat beta operated under two2six. These terms govern its account and private-chat features. Read them and the Privacy notice before accepting in Account. If you do not agree, do not use those features.
Before you continue
- You must be at least 18 and legally an adult where you live. Parental permission does not make a minor eligible.
- Companions are AI characters, not people, therapists, or emergency responders. Replies can be inaccurate or inappropriate.
- Memory is optional. Chat history is stored separately, including when memory is off.
- This beta provides web chat. SMS, proactive messages, image generation, paid subscriptions, and automatic billing are not active.
- The liability limits below apply only to the extent allowed by law; mandatory rights remain protected.
1. Adult eligibility and account security
By accepting, you confirm that you are at least 18, have reached legal adulthood where you live, and have legal capacity to agree. Do not give false age information, create an account for a minor, share your account with a minor, or help someone bypass eligibility controls. Parents and guardians cannot authorize an under-18 person to use private chat.
The current age check records your declaration and acceptance; it does not independently verify your date of birth or identity. A verified email or successful sign-in is not proof of adulthood. If you are under 18, stop using private chat and sign out. Account deletion controls remain available.
Keep your sign-in secure and use only your own account and data. Report suspected unauthorized access or underage use through Support / report, which currently requires sign-in. Provide only information needed to identify the concern. Do not upload identity documents, payment details, or a child's private conversation into a report or chat. We may restrict or suspend access while investigating credible eligibility, safety, or security concerns.
2. AI disclosure and limitations
Names, personalities, romantic styles, affectionate language, and apparent emotions are generated character behavior. They do not establish a relationship with a human or mean the AI has feelings, independent awareness, professional credentials, or an ability to monitor your real-world situation. You decide what to do with a reply; verify information before relying on it for consequential decisions.
helloash is for conversation and entertainment. It does not provide professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other regulated advice. It is not a substitute for qualified care, human relationships, or real-world support. Do not rely on it to diagnose, treat, prevent harm, or make emergency decisions.
We do not provide continuous monitoring, guaranteed detection of distress, or emergency dispatch. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services, including 911 in the United States. In the United States, call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support. The app and its support form are not emergency channels.
3. What this beta includes
The service includes authenticated web chat, companion settings, stored history, optional user-approved memories, and data controls. Replies are generated in response to chat requests. “Someone who texts first” describes a planned direction; autonomous check-ins and SMS are not included. No particular future feature or launch date is promised.
The beta can contain bugs, interrupted service, lost or delayed replies, and inaccurate or unwanted outputs. Features, models, availability, and request limits may change. Requests may be limited or refused to control cost, abuse, or safety risks. Adult eligibility and romantic settings do not guarantee explicit content or unrestricted responses.
4. Prohibited use
Do not use helloash to:
- Create, solicit, share, or facilitate sexual content involving anyone under 18, including fictional depictions, age-play, or attempts to portray a minor as an adult to evade this rule; groom or exploit a child; or facilitate trafficking or sexual exploitation.
- Threaten, harass, stalk, impersonate, exploit, or disclose another person's private information without permission; facilitate violence, self-harm, fraud, or other unlawful conduct.
- Submit material you do not have the right to use, including content that infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Access another account's records; steal credentials; introduce malicious code; automate abusive requests; or bypass quotas, authentication, safety measures, or deletion controls.
- Misrepresent an AI companion as a real person or licensed professional, or use it to deceive another person about who is communicating.
We may refuse requests or restrict, suspend, or end access for violations, credible safety concerns, legal requirements, or security and operational reasons. These rules do not promise that every violation will be detected automatically or reviewed immediately. Use Support / report to report inappropriate outputs or suspected abuse.
5. Your content, privacy, memory, and deletion
You retain the rights you hold in submitted content. You give us limited, nonexclusive permission to process, transmit to service providers, and store it as needed to deliver your chosen features, operate and secure the service, investigate reported issues, and meet applicable legal obligations, as described in the Privacy notice. These terms do not grant a right to publish your private conversations or share them with other users.
Clerk handles sign-in, Cloudflare hosts the application and database, and OpenAI processes context needed for a reply. Private account access is not a promise that content never reaches service providers or can never be accessed for necessary operations. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, identity documents, or other secrets. AI outputs may resemble other outputs and are not guaranteed to be unique or free of third-party rights.
Memory starts off and uses facts you explicitly save when enabled. Turning it off stops its use and new saves; it does not erase existing memories or chat history. You can review, edit, or delete memories, delete history and companions, and delete your account. Deletion removes relevant records from the active application store. Provider records, technical logs, and recovery copies can have separate retention; we do not promise immediate erasure everywhere. See the Privacy notice for account tombstones, identity-deletion retries, and retention details.
6. Fees, support, and ending use
No paid subscription or automatic billing is enabled. A future paid offering or SMS service would require separately disclosed terms and your explicit purchase or messaging consent. Current acceptance does not enroll you in future billing or SMS.
Reports are stored for operator review, require sign-in, and are not continuously monitored. Response times and resolution are not guaranteed. You can stop using the service at any time, sign out, and use Account to delete your account. If a data-control request cannot be completed, report it through Support when accessible. Nothing here removes data rights available under applicable law.
7. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, suitability for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee a particular emotional, health, business, or other outcome.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the service, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data. To that same extent, our total aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit, including nonwaivable consumer, privacy, and personal-injury rights. They do not waive statutory duties, prevent reports to regulators, or remove remedies that law preserves. Some jurisdictions do not permit particular exclusions or limits; those provisions apply only where enforceable.
8. Updates and contact
Material changes will receive a new terms version and require renewed acceptance before you continue private chat. The app records the version and time accepted. If you decline, stop private chat; you can still review or delete existing companions, or delete your account, without accepting a new version. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
Questions about these terms, eligibility, privacy, or the service can be submitted through Support / report. Review the linked Privacy notice for current data practices.
